Saffron Restaurant - Paternoster

FINE DINING IN PATERNOSTER

The chef has crafted a menu to showcase the very best of West Coast cuisine and fresh local foods. He describes cuisine as “Exquisite world cuisine, with an African twist.”

Locally sourced seafood features prominently, alongside traditional South Africa cuisine – but there are meat and chicken dishes too. A special Chef’s Table also sits comfortably in the kitchen, where up to 10 guests can enjoy dining in situ as the chef creates tantalizing dishes.

Main meals, accompanied by select local wines, are served in the exotically appointed Saffron Restaurant – under crystal chandeliers and surrounded by candlelight and evocative artwork.
The sea view Orchid Room is the setting for breakfasts and afternoon teas.

The Africa Bar is an eclectic mix of old Africa and new. Warmed in winter by an oversized fireplace, it’s a vibrant central meeting space to relax and socialize.

Riverside Owner launches first book

On Monday 14 November 2011, Andre Oosthuizen launched his first book at Riverside Estates.  The book entitled LIGHT A BRIEF CANDLE looks at ways in which individual people can perform small miracles and help people around them.

The book celebrates people who have made a difference and encourages all of us to do the same.

A quote by Eleanor Roosevelt on the book's cover says "It is better to light a brief candle than to curse the darkness."

The launch was very well attended and was a great success.  Each person mentioned in the book was at the launch and made a small speech.

These are the websites from some of the projects which are discussed in the book.

Dear Sandra

On behalf of the Faculty and the members who attended the Postgraduate Workshop over the period 28-29 August 2011 at Goudini Spa we would like to thank you and your staff for your services.  I have to express our gratitude for the professional and friendly manner in which you handled the entire group, together with our ad hoc requests.  At no stage did you nor your staff shown any frustration but were always eager to help us.

We do hope that many travellers and vacationers will choose Goudini Spa as a destination for it makes for good memorable moments.

Good luck to you and your staff in your quests to always deliver superior services. GOD BLESS!!!

Thank you and kind regards,

Dear Ari,
We would like to thank you for hosting our 26th Fairest Cape Tour. Your co-operation and assistance was much appreciated - the check-ins went like clockwork and the prizegiving dinner and decor were just perfect, in spite of some last-minute changes.

The feedback from the participants so far has been positive and complimentary.

Kind regards
Eddie and Chris (Fairest Cape Tours)
