During this time he was National Sales Manager for both Beachcomber Tours and World Leisure Holidays, before moving to Cape Town and starting the Marketing department for Spier Wine Estate. Following that, he worked with numerous Independent hotel owners including: Lanzerac in Stellenbosch, St James in Knysna and Diaz Beach in Mossel Bay in a marketing capacity. He was also responsible for the opening marketing and positioning of Spier, Kleine Zalze and Pepper Club hotels.
